An intimate affair! Stassi Schröder and Handsome Clark landed in Italy earlier this week to celebrate their second marriage – but not all of their Vanderpump Rules teammates made the trip.
“Stassi had to reduce his guest list”, says a source exclusively We Weekly.
When the away with my head the author, 33, and her husband, 42, landed in Rome on Monday, May 9, only Katie Maloney seemed to be in town from the Bravo family.
Scheana Shay and Kristen Doubted were visibly missing, as was Maloney’s ex-husband, Tom Schwartz. (Maloney, 35, and Schwartz, 39, announced their separation in March after more than a decade together.)
“Some of his family, friends and former partners, including Scheana, had to be uninvited,” the insider said.
Companion Vanderpump Rules alums Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor didn’t appear to be in the Eternal City as of Wednesday May 11th. Schwartz, for his part, flew to Italy in time to join the crew for the welcome party on Wednesday night.
“Marriage glory then return to LA Schwartz and Sandy awaits,” the Tom Tom co-founder wrote via his Instagram Story on Wednesday, alongside a photo of pizza in the city.
Schroeder and Clark tied the knot in their backyard in September 2020 after having to postpone their initial plans to tie the knot in Italy in October 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The duo, who share 16-month-old daughter Hartford, confirmed last month that they are holding a second ceremony in Rome now that travel restrictions have been lifted.
The couple documented their romantic getaway, including visits to the Pantheon and dining at local restaurants with loved ones all week. When the lovebirds first arrived in Italy, they revealed that pals Maloney, Rob Evors, Kristina Kelly, Dylan Leon and Christopher Shanley were by their side.
After a bachelorette party-style night out with Schroeder’s sister, Georgian Guthand Clark’s brother, Georgia BardettiTuesday, May 10, Next Level Basic The author teased the couple’s welcome dinner via social media on Wednesday.
“We’re almost married,” Clark said in an Instagram Story video with his wife. “Well, celebrated. Were married.”
Schroeder chimed in, “It’s a rehearsal dinner. Welcome dinner, whatever. We are a beautiful couple. We are a handsome fucking king couple. Her husband added, “You look beautiful! What?”
While Cartwright, 33, seems to be at home in Los Angeles, she gushed about Schroeder’s rehearsal dinner look. “Gorgeous ❤️,” she wrote via Instagram on Wednesday.
