NAT 2022: apply before June 30

The Department of Education has called for nominations for the 2022 National Awards to Teachers. Teachers nationwide can apply and register online for self-nomination at the official website – nationalawardstoteachers.education.gov. in. The deadline to register for NAT 2022 is June 20.
Announcing this, the ministry in a statement on social media said, “To applaud the meritorious service of teachers to improve the quality of education and enrich the lives of students, the government. of India will award them #NationalAwardtoTeachers on #TeachersDay.

Each candidate, as per the NAT 2022 website, must submit an online portfolio along with the entry form. The portfolio should include relevant materials such as documents, tools, activity reports, field trips, photographs, audio recordings or videos.
Normally retired teachers are not eligible for the award, but teachers who have served part of the calendar year (at least for four months until April 30 of the year to which the national awards relate) may be considered if they meet all other requirements.
