PlayStation 5 stock updates – GAME and Argos prepare for potential sale

As Christmas approaches, many retailers are rushing to restock PlayStation 5 stock as quickly as possible to keep up with demand.

Despite the Sony console officially launching in the UK a year ago, it is still one of the most sought-after consoles, with many gamers still desperate to get their hands on one.

Black Friday is also just one week away (November 26), which means the price of the PlayStation 5 Disc and the digital console will be reduced.

Nonetheless, GAME will go live with its PlayStation 5 sale this morning (November 16) and it is also reported that Argos will go live with a PlayStation 5 drop this week.

That’s according to gaming experts who have been tracking PS5 launches and trends here in the UK.

The Twitter account, PS5 Stock UK, which has over 200,000 followers, correctly predicted that GAME will go live with an online drop between November 16 and 19 – it turns out to be today.

While Argos should launch its sale around November 18 and 19.

They tweeted, “GAME’s PS5 Priority Insured Shipping must be shipped by November 22, all other delivery methods must be shipped by November 29. This further confirms a drop in line between November 16 and 19. “

GAME then tweeted: “This morning we’ll be bringing a selection of PlayStation 5 consoles online.

“The PlayStation 5s continue to be in high demand and that demand far exceeds current supply. We have strong measures in place to ensure our “1 per customer” statement is upheld. “

Commenting on Argos’ drop, the account said: “A massive PS5 drop is expected by Argos around November 18-19.

“Multiple shipments have been received, both in disc and digital editions, making this Argos biggest PS5 delivery since launch. Should be an 8am delivery, as usual, in store and in line.”

For the best chance of getting a potential PlayStation 5 with Argos and GAME, be sure to follow these steps:

  • Create a GAME or Argos account to connect and buy more easily with your existing information
  • Signing up for alerts from both retailers can also help
  • Save their PlayStation 5 landing pages HERE and HERE for quick access on sale day
  • Opting for PlayStation 5 packs (a mix of a console, accessory, or game) may give you a better chance of getting one, as they’re usually priced slightly higher – stand-alone consoles are purchased very quickly.

The PlayStation 5 comes in two forms: the PS5 console: £ 449.99 and the PS5 Digital Edition console: £ 359.99.

The only difference between the PS5 console and the PS5 Digital Edition console is the inclusion of an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc player in the PS5 console. The PS5 Digital Edition console does not have a disc drive.
