Botánika Osa Peninsula, Curio Collection by Hilton, a premier eco-resort on Costa Rica’s unspoilt South Pacific coast, is now open.

Green getaway

Managed by Aqua-Aston Hospitality, Botánika Osa Peninsula promises to offer a distinctive resort experience and exclusive access to some of the region’s best sport fishing and ecotourism and adventure activities.

Located next to two of Costa Rica’s most prized natural gems – Corcovado National Park and the Pacific Ocean’s Golfo Dulce – the Botánika Osa Peninsula spans 21 acres of lush flora and fauna. The resort offers travelers an unspoilt rainforest getaway with well-appointed residences, upscale dining, 100-seat event space, and rainforest-inspired experiences at the resort’s Clubhouse.

Mix inside and outside

The station features contemporary Gensler and Modus Operandi architecture that coexists seamlessly with the surroundings. The interior design, by Francisco Jove of Modus Operandi, evokes a refined sense of place where the lines between exterior and interior blur in public spaces and guest rooms, with wide verandas, expansive walls of glass and native landscaping.

The resort opens with 44 Rainforest Residences, available in studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom configurations and featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, modern kitchenettes, or full kitchens with top-of-the-line appliances, oversized decks, and outdoor living areas. a private rooftop lounge for nature watching and stargazing. Each spacious suite features a vibrant color palette and biophilic aesthetic that complements the lush rainforest landscape. In 2023, the Botánika Osa peninsula will have a total of 123 residences in the rainforest.

The Clubhouse space is complete with a reception area, concierge desk, outdoor seating and a courtyard terrace. The area is also home to the restaurant, lounge, wine bar, and a state-of-the-art 2,600 square foot fitness center, as well as unique gardens where guests can view wildlife like monkeys, hummingbirds, and flora like orchids and bamboo. .

Costa Rican cuisine

Executive Chef Jose Tizado leads the resort’s four culinary outlets. Its fine menus feature sustainable ingredients sourced from regional suppliers and the resort’s gardens. Tierra a la Mesa, the resort’s signature restaurant, serves breakfast and dinner daily and offers indoor and outdoor seating. Guests can enjoy dishes like Tomahawk steak or freshly caught Mahi Mahi prepared in a custom charcoal grill using traditional Costa Rican cooking techniques.

Becra is a more casual dining option, while Driza, the resort’s poolside lounge bar, is open for lunch and happy hour and features live musical performances from local artists. Babanca Wine Bar provides an environment for VIP tasting experiences and small events.
