April 14, 2022
London-based predictive visual analytics platform Dragonfly AI has raised £3m in a Series A funding round, which it will use to target growth in Europe and North America. North, develop its sales engine and invest in product development and R&D.
Co-founded in 2018 by Mark Bainbridge and David Mitchell, Dragonfly uses artificial intelligence and neuroscience to provide real-time insights into what an audience sees first across any content and channel. The platform can be used to measure the effectiveness of a variety of content such as packaging, advertisements and print; in-store merchandise and signage; television advertisements; and e-commerce landing pages.
The funding was led by Guinness Ventures and existing investors Downing Ventures, with participation from Capita PLC. Dragonfly AI CEO Richard Mann (pictured) comments, “We are thrilled to close this round of funding from investors who share our vision of the value that predictive technologies can bring to the creative design process. This investment will allow Dragonfly AI to continue to grow in Europe and the United States, and further invest in our technology platform, including initiatives such as the new e-commerce benchmarks we are launching this quarter.”
