Racecourse Media Group (RMG) has been awarded a new two-year contract by the Dubai Racing Club to provide production and distribution services for the next two full seasons of horse racing at Meydan Racecourse.

The season culminates with the sparkling US $ 30.5 million card from the Dubai World Cup on March 26, 2022, recognized as one of the most prestigious day races on the calendar.

Timeline Television will provide broadcast facilities and a crew to support RMG’s host production and ongoing coverage.

RMG, together with its longtime broadcast partner Timeline, has produced and distributed Dubai Flagship Racecourse Horse Racing for the past six seasons, are offering exciting broadcast rights packages for the season.

The 2021-2022 racing season includes 22 meetings in total. The 2022 Dubai World Cup Carnival (DWCC), one of the highlights of the global racing calendar, kicks off on Thursday, January 13, one of eight meetings that culminates with Super Saturday on March 5.

Dubai World Cup racing day enjoyed unprecedented global exposure in 2021, with more than 40 broadcasters presenting the day.

Created through the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, the race takes place against one of the most iconic sporting theaters, the Hippodrome of Meydan at the cutting edge of technology. The architectural masterpiece is 1.2 km long and can accommodate over 60,000 people in its grandstand.

Racecourse Media Group is the parent company of Racing TV, which will broadcast every Meydan game live this season and is available on Sky 426, Virgin 536 (Great Britain) and 411 (Ireland), Apple TV and Vodafone (Ireland).
